Remora: Autonomous Governance for ServiceNow SAM Pro
Remora: Turning ServiceNow SAM Pro Data into Continuous Governance
If your organisation runs ServiceNow SAM Pro, your asset and licence data is already in one place. However, data alone does not show where your practice falls short, or what to fix first. Our new overview paper explains how Remora closes that gap.
From process framework to agentic governance
The ITAM Accelerate process framework defines good practice across 101 processes in five kits. Each process carries its own critical success factor and KPI. Until now, though, applying that framework meant a consultant working through your records by hand.
Remora changes that. It is an agentic reconnaissance tool that connects to your live estate, sweeps the data and tests it against the framework. As a result, you get a prioritised, human-in-the-loop queue of findings, not another dashboard to interpret.
What Remora does inside ServiceNow SAM Pro
Remora’s connector reads eight core ServiceNow SAM Pro tables through OAuth 2.0 and the Table REST API. It then writes findings back as Incidents or Tasks. Every record carries its process reference, CSF and KPI, so the reason travels with the finding. In addition, citations to NIS2, FFIEC and the NCSC CAF help turn routine findings into audit-ready evidence.
We have already built and tested three recon agents covering ITAM, Cloud and AI governance. Meanwhile, a development partner is building the production connector now.
Become a design partner
SAM Charter is opening a small number of design-partner places for ServiceNow SAM Pro customers. Partners get early, no-cost access, direct input into the rules engine and early sight of commercial terms. In return, we ask for candid feedback from a team running SAM Pro day to day.
